Whats the best way to watch movies while traveling?
I don't have a portable DVD player.Maybe I will get one if its really cheap.I don't have a PSP or Ipod Video.Is there any way I can get lots of movies for a cheap price and to burn them on a CD-R & play them on a portable DVD.I thought about getting an Archos Media Player but it costs too much & I would only use it on long road trips.I do have a laptop that can burn movies though.I won't watch it on my laptop because my laptop got ruined last time I brought it to the airport the hard drive died & the laptop is really heavy.I can't rent movies because I'm going to Italy for 3 weeks. A Media player with a USB port thats affordable would be nice if you can find one.

Use a laptop or borrow one from a friend if you dont have one, and put your dvd's in. Make sure the laptop has a dvd-rom and good battery life. Otherwise get a psp, your own good laptop, or a ipod video.

For me, I prefer to use my ipod video. It is compact and I can put it in my bag. The portable DVD is too bulky to carry and heavy in my bag to carry around in the airport.

Get a portable DVD player that also comes with something that you can attach to the car seat in the future and plan to get all the new movies that has came out recently but don't watch them til you are on the plane or in Italy ... Take the DVD out of its box and put in the music cd holder bag - perhaps 20 pocket one That is what I plan to do when we go on vacation next month ... Sams Club and Costco both have good prices on portable DVD players - though keep your eye on ads this weekend since 4th of July is around the corner they might slash the prices lower ... If you have Fry's in your hometown, go there too as their prices are good too ... Hope I explained good ...
