Do I need a power converter for my HP Pavilliondv600 laptop to use it in Italy?
I know the power supply is different in Italy (dc not ac) and I don't want my laptop to burnout. What can I buy and where do I go to get it? Thank you!

I bought Dell Vostro 1310 Laptop from Italy, can I replace the Italian Keyboard with English Keyboard?
I bought Dell Vostro 1310 Laptop from Italy, with Windows Vesta OS (Italian Language), now when I installed Windows Vesta English version, I face a problem in dealing with the Keyboard, some characters are typed not as printed on the keys. Can I replace the Italian Keyboard with English Keyboard?

probably not. go to best buy and see if the geek squad can help. or if u are still in italy call up dell. ciao

Yes, as long as it supports the American Layout, and you can find the keyboard for it. EDIT: You should be able to find the parts on dell's website

How can I get connect to the internet from my laptop when I'm far from any town, in Italy
How can I get connect to the internet from my laptop when I'm far from any town, in Italy?
I have an isolated place in Italy. I have a laptop and a cellphone, is there some fancy new gadget I can use to connect or am I missing something?

um. a phone line, dial up. maybe they have a wi fi hotspot you can hook up to.

A lot of major cell phone carriers are offering wireless cards. Here is one example from cingular. http://business.cingular.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/modem-cards.jsp
