What is worse than this? I am really upset by it all!?
I lost all photos from a couple of years. this includes a trip to africa, italy, and various family meals and outings, and first year of uni. My laptop hard drive was wiped! What could be worse?!

It's a shame you didn't think about backing up your data. Sorry about your loss. Lesson learned the hard way.

That REALLY sucks. Not being blessed with a life to enjoy such experiences would be worse, still i sympathize.

Feel sad for you:( but there are loads of other good and bad things in this world about which we are not aware so try to be grateful for what you have...:)

One of your mates could have died in a car accident when running away from home because her/his boy/girl friend was abusing her/him??

Your loved ones dying, finding out you have an incurable disease, becoming homeless... I know it can be devastating to lose photos (I'm an avid photographer myself, because I have a very bad memory), but there are much, much worse things. Try to remember all you can about those trips and write it down in a journal so you can try to preserve some form of memories from them... that's all you can do, gonna have to just move on. Sorry : (

either you went or not. all the memories should be in your mind, no need for pictures. You know where you've been and what you've done. Pictures are for losers trying to brag, memories are for people who live life to the fullest. Who wants to be attached to pictures and lose sight of the memories. Never understood people who get emotionally attached to pictures
