There would be 2 easy ways to access the internet: 1) Book a hotel that has wireless internet access. Note that the hotel may charge a daily surcharge for the wireless access and these hotels may be slightly more expensive than others that don't have wireless access. You don't see that many free wireless hotspots in Italy like we do in the U.S. because of some Italian anti-terrorism law. 2) Easier option... Use the internet at one of dozens of internet cafes you'll see throughout Rome. There seems to be one on every street corner, especially near Termini station. They usually are very cheap - €1 to €2 per hour - and they usually have webcams & headsets so you can use Skype/Yahoo Messenger to make cheap phone calls back home. This way you can leave your laptop at home and not have to carry any extra weight around with you in those hot Roman summer days... Good luck!

a tip for the internet cafes however, you'll probably need to give the cafe your passport as collateral while you're in the cafe. a lot of hotels have free internet enabled computers for patron use too, just ask at the desk!

Stay away from Termini Station if you can................it's not a safe place.....there is this park name VILLA BORGHESE that's free wireless Here a usefull web site ; http://www.romawireless.com/hotspot_eng.htm

A TRIP!!! Experience and nice moments make life great, not material stuff. So go for a trip and have an awesome time!!! all the best

Get a laptop now, and then start saving to take a year abroad during college. Hopefully the dollar will be stronger by then, but in any case, you will have so much more time to do more things, to backpack, and spend months kicking around the monuments and museums, live among the people, really KNOW places. You'll be more mature and able to REALLY appreciate the opportunities. Those trips are intended to be like appetizers, to give you a taste so you want to go back

What to pack for a week long trip for entertainment

What to pack for a week long trip for entertainment?
I'm 13, and , I'm going to Italy for a week. I think the flight is about 3 hours, and I'm going with a friend. What can I bring that can entertain me? I'm allowed to bring my laptop but I don't think I can use it on the plane. Any ideas?

At 13 yrs and going to Italy, let the experience entertain you. Take a book for the flight and laptop for recording your experiences...what you saw, who you met etc. Your friend could do the same. It is a wonderful experience for you. My daughters did not have a laptop but I had them write every night what had happened during the day in their diaries. Now, many years later they read their diaries and remember things they had forgotten about their first overseas strip

If you can post a question on Yahoo Answers, then there is no reason why you cannot google to find your own information. Procrastination I can understand, laziness and lying I can't
