Can my 802.11b card in my laptop hook up in a internet cafe in italy without any additional equipment?
I would also like to know assuming that the connection can be made, can I use a skype account to call the US form Italy and does anyone have an idea as to what is the cost per minute?

if the cafe has a "b" compliant wifi...i see no reason that you could not connect. as for skype not so sure on the rates.
