Foreign electricity converter kit-would a laptop use 50V or 1600V

Foreign electricity converter kit-would a laptop use 50V or 1600V?
On this World-wide foreign travel converter kit that I bought for my trip to Italy, there are two settings: 50V and 1600V. According to the packaging, 50V is for "answering machines, tape recorders, calculators, cassettes, radios" while 1600V is for "curlers, irons, heating pads, electric blankets, steamers, food/bottle warmers". What setting would a standard Dell laptop use?
